Bob King’s educational background includes a B.A. in Philosophy from UC-Santa Barbara, an M.F.A in Painting and Drawing from UCLA, and a Ph.D. in Social Foundations of Education from UNC-Greensboro.
His employment background includes museum exhibit design and fabrication, media consulting and training for educational institutions, fine arts painting and drawing, and teaching in higher education at graduate and undergraduate levels.
Dr. King entered the field of digital media in a focused way in 1993 after becoming involved in an extended email conversation during his doctoral study that, when transcribed and edited, became his doctoral dissertation. His interest was captured then --and remains now rooted in -- the creative, philosophical, and educational aspects of digital media.
