Rosemary Millar, Humanities, Critical Perspectives and Literature (2010)
Rosemary Millar joined the faculty of Undergraduate Programs in 2010. She earned a B.A. from Brooklyn College and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Virginia. She teaches composition and an African-American literature course. Future courses include the Supernatural, an introductory survey course in Western literature and utopias/dystopias.
Dr. Millar’s teaching interests include 20th century American and African-American literature, Caribbean literature, literature and religion, African literature, contemporary ethnic women’s literature, science fiction and speculative fiction.
Dr. Millar is also interested in Victorian literature, poetry and drama.
Dr. Millar also serves as the advisor to the student organization known as Empowering Rising Artists (ERA).
