The Installation of John Mauceri, Chancellor, North Carolina School of the Arts

INFORMATION FOR ACADEMIC DELEGATES, PLATFORM PARTY AND PROCESSIONAL

Parking:   As you enter the main entrance off of Main Street, there will be signs directing you to PLATFORM PARKING on Service Road.  There will be approximately 26+ spaces. Police will assist in parking President Bowles, UNC Board of Governors members, General Administration representatives, UNC chancellors, academic delegates and honorary doctorate delegates in this area. The NCSA Board of Trustees will have a sign showing that they have reserved parking in the Film Visitors Lot.

Attire:  Academic regalia is not required to be in the procession; however, many have chosen  to wear their regalia. It is entirely a matter of choice.    

9 a.m. Gather in Eisenberg Social Hall

[Platform Party, Chancellor Emeritus, Board of Governors and General Administration, Board of Trustees, Chancellors, Academic Delegates, Honorary Doctorate Delegates, Administrative Cabinet, Vice Chancellor]

Coffee and danish will be provided.

Elaine Pruitt and Jenny Ruggieri of NCSA will organize assembly of procession as listed below.

10 a.m. Processional to Stage on Lawn outside of Eisenberg

[Brass quintet plays short fanfare to announce beginning of ceremony]

Quintet begins processional music. 

Elaine Pruitt (NCSA Chief Academic Officer) begins processional, audience stands.
