INFORMATION FOR MEDIA

We are happy to have you on campus to cover Chancellor John Mauceri's installation. We will do everything we can to accommodate your needs. If you have not already spoken with Marla Carpenter in the News Bureau and have questions, please call 336-770-3337 before 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 3.

Please note that this installation TAKES PLACE ON THE NCSA CAMPUS AT 1533 SOUTH MAIN STREET, NOT AT THE STEVENS CENTER IN DOWNTOWN WINSTON-SALEM. The actual ceremony begins at 10 a.m. on the lawn adjacent to the Hanes Student Commons/Eisenberg Social Hall on campus.

Please identify yourself to our NCSA Police Officers when you enter our campus. They will direct you to parking. Media representatives also will have reserved seating. Please identify yourselves to the ushers, who will direct you to your seats.

We will have a press box for broadcast media to plug into.

We also have made provisions for TV crews to do live broadcasts during the noon news. (Chancellor Mauceri will conduct the NCSA Symphony Orchestra in two selections as the grand finale of the installation; approximate time is 12:15 p.m.) Satellite trucks will be directed to a special location by NCSA Police Officers.
