Arts in Schools Programs

ArtSTEM is a faculty-led initiative with the mission of exploring teaching and learning practices at the intersection of the arts, humanities, and the "STEM" disciplines of science, technology, engineering and math. Its most recent work has been the ArtSTEM Mural Project, which brought science and humanities classes at UNCSA together with 6th-grade classes at the Arts-Based School through a shared public art project.
