Beseda, Assistant Dean (1991)
Worked as actor, press agent and theatrical representative. Has
lectured and given professional workshops at universities around the
nation, and has served as an adviser to regional theatre companies. As
a theatrical agent in New York, represented a large pool of actors,
directors and designers in theatre, television and film. Assistant
director to Gerald Freedman for “Hamlet” at the New York
Shakespeare Festival; “The Adams Chronicles” pilot, PBS;
Broadway’s “The Robber Bridegroom”; “The
Coronation of Poppea,” at the New York City Opera; and other
projects. Graduated with a B.FA. in 1974 from The Juilliard School,
where he trained under John Houseman. Made professional acting debut at
the American Shakespeare Festival. Regional credits include major roles
at the Asolo Theatre, the Long Wharf, the McCarter, Philadelphia Drama
Guild, the Goodman, New Jersey Shakespeare Festival and Pittsburgh
Public. Appeared off-Broadway, as well as on television.
