UNCSA currently has four new buildings under way on the campus!

The total cost of the projects is $46.7 million. Funding is by Certificate of Possession (COP) bonds. Also, the Library received a $1 million legislative appropriation for planning early in the process.

Projects include:

* Library

75,731 square-feet

To be located across from the Administration Building on Ehle Drive  

Total Project Budget:  $24,009,268

* Film Production Design Building(set design and construction, animation, and gaming)

29,993 square-feet

To be located near the Waughtown Street entrance to campus

Total Project Budget:  $11,543,828

* Campus Police Operations Building

9,023 square-feet

To be located on campus adjacent to the current location (off Kenan Drive)

Total Project Budget: $3,260,666

* Central Storage

43,408 square feet

To be located on Acadia Street (vacant lot)

UNCSA Facilities Management had meetings with the campus community on Feb. 24, 2012, and the surrounding community of Washington Park on March 7, 2012, to detail the projects and the impact of the construction.
