Congratulations to UNCSA's student members of the Society of Camera Operators on winning the following 2014 awards on Friday, July 25th at Abel Cine in Burbank, CA.
Joseph Blankinship (class of 2014) won first place for STARLIGHT.
Tyler Harmon-Townsend (class of 2015) won for MATADOR.
Donald Monroe (class of 2015) won for COMBUSTABILLY.

71st Venice Film Festival News!

Congrats to David Gordon Green (UNCSA class of 1998) on his new film MANGELHORN (competing for the Golden Lion) starring Al Pacino.
Congrats to Peter Bogdanovich (UNCSA faculty member) on his  new film SHE'S FUNNY THAT WAY, (screening out of competition) starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, with Noah Baumbach and Wes Anderson among its producers.
