Carin Ioannou, MBA
Senior Director of Business Affairs
Carin Ioannou has been at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for more than 13 years. Ms. Ioannou was formerly the Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance for UNCSA before she was promoted to Senior Director of Business Affairs in September 2007. She graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Services and Pfeiffer University with a Master of Business Administration.
As Senior Director of Business Affairs, Ms. Ioannou is responsible for managing the business and financial affairs of the school and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Ioannou provides leadership and management to the Controller, Director of Budget, Director of Purchasing, Director of Systems and Procedures, Director of Campus Performance Facilities, and Director of Auxiliary Services.
Ms. Ioannou serves on the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees and on the Board of Trustees Endowment Fund Committee. She provides financial and budgetary information to the committees, financial and budgetary policy recommendations when appropriate, investment performance reports, and reports and guidance on other fiscal matters.
