Dr. Mary T. Perkins (Winston-Salem, N.C.) is self-employed and the owner of MT Perkins Collaborations, a healthcare consulting business. Previously, she was the Director of Nursing, Operations of Brenner Children’s Hospital, Director of Brenner Children’s Health Services and Assistant Vice President of Behavioral Health Services for Wake Forest University Baptist Behavioral Health. She earned a B.S.N. degree from Hampton University, an M.S.N. from Marquette University and a Ph.D. from the University of California San Francisco.
She is the immediate past president of the Susan G. Komen NWNC affiliate, a current board member of the UNCSA Board of Visitors, a Stephen Minister, member of the UMMBC Health and Wellness Ministry, chair of UMMBC’s Community Garden and chair of the WS MOLES scholarship committee. She and her husband have been co-chairs of UNCSA's Larry Leon Hamlin Scholarship Committee since 2008.
