| The University of North Carolina School of the Arts’ Information Technologies Department is responsible for all computing and telecommunications services at the school. The primary functions of the Information Technologies Department are 1) the analysis, design, programming, and operation of the mainframe and web administrative application systems; 2) system management and operation of the mainframe computers; 3) service of all micro-computers (hardware and software applications), terminals, printers, and other peripherals throughout campus; 4) telecommunications – data, voice, and video; 5) management of all campus servers including NT, Sun, Unix, and Linux platforms, 6) web system development and management, and 7) a full range of computer training and support to the entire campus.
