Strings

As a student in the Strings program at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, you will be part of a community of hardworking musicians, dedicated to their instruments and becoming fine artists. Your peers in the School of Music and the string department will be diverse, coming from across the state, across the country and across the globe. You will work side by side with musicians from eastern North Carolina, Israel, Germany and China, all sharing one thing – the joy of mastering your craft.

The string program offers a high school diploma, undergraduate Bachelor of Music degree, graduate Master of Music degree and a post-graduate Professional Artist Certificate.
