Group exercise classes

UNCSA Fitness Center offers group exercise classes to enhance students and staff well-being and increase productivity. All classes will be held in the Fitness Center. Faculty and staff who are not members may attend classes at no cost. No registration required.

Yoga with Deanna
Mondays at 12:30-1:30 p.m.

All-level yoga class that will teach a variety of standing, balancing and seated poses and breathing techniques that will build strength plus control in the body and ultimately the mind. Bring your own yoga mat or use one of ours.

Hula Hoop with Emilyann
Tuesdays, noon-12:30 p.m. and 12:30-1 p.m.

Hula hoops provided or bring your own. All experience levels welcome. Classes are 30 minutes. Hula hoop class is a great way to tone your body, increase blood circulation and relieve stress. Open to all students, faculty, and staff. Come to one or both classes. Classes are tailored to the participants.

Move, Sweat & Smile Fit Class with Deanna
Thursdays at 12:30-1:15 p.m.

This class is 45 minutes that includes a warm-up, metabolic workout and a finisher. Work at your own intensity level through this weekly boot camp-style class
