Residence Halls & Transportation

If your child is leaving campus with a non-parent or taking UNCSA Shuttle to the airport, ensure you have sent in the Overnight Travel Permission Form (OPTF)  that allows your student to leave campus for break if someone other than a parent is picking up your student. An OPTF must be submitted to allow high school students to leave campus with SIBLINGS. If traveling to the airport via UNCSA Shuttle, an OPTF must be on file listing "UNCSA Transportation" as the driver. If an OTPF was submitted and plans CHANGE. Then a new form must be sent to accurately reflect the change of plans.

Outstanding Balances
Health Services has sent paper copies of outstanding balances to UNCSA student mailboxes. Students should check their UNCSA mailboxes to see if they have an outstanding balance; that balance should be settled up prior to leaving for the break.

Medication Reminder
Students who have prescription medications secured in Health Services can pick up medications prior to break. Pick up times will vary according to student's arts schedules. If students return to campus with new prescription bottles, drop them off at the UNCSA Police Station and someone from Health Services will retrieve them the next day. If you have any concerns please contact Stephanie Hertig and she will be glad to assist you.

Break Hours
During this period of time no medical, counseling or athletic training services will be provided for students. During breaks students will have access to medical or mental health by contacting Healthlink at 1-888-267-3675.
