UNCSA Presents: American Music Series

American Music Series
UNCSA’s American Music Series explores the juxtaposition of a full range of American musics – both those created on our shores and those brought to this land. Our American musical tapestry reflects the rich, complex and contradictory history of this country and gives voice to the many stories we tell ourselves about who we are and how we feel about our lives.

UNCSA Presents is a University of North Carolina School of the Arts program offering top-notch entertainment by touring professional artists. The Summer 2018 lineup, American Music Series, features artists who have won Grammy Awards, been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, recorded Top 40 hits, been honored by the Kennedy Center and featured on NPR and network television.

All events start at 7:30 p.m. at UNCSA’s Stevens Center at 405 West Fourth St. in downtown Winston-Salem. Tickets range from $17 to $78 and are on sale online or by calling the box office at 336-721-1945.
