UNCSA Staff and Faculty Affinity Groups

Affinity groups and supportive communities for historically underserved faculty and staff to increase retention and sense of belonging.

What is an Affinity Group?

Affinity Groups are university-supported groups formed around a common purpose, ideology or interest. Through participation, UNCSA staff and faculty help foster a positive work environment by actively contributing to its mission, values and efforts specific to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. Affinity Groups can play a vital role in ensuring an inclusive environment where all are valued, included, and empowered to succeed.
