Noel “Skip” Dunn (Winston-Salem, N.C.) has been chairman emeritus at Aon Global since 2009. He was president of Aon Risk Services (Holdings) of the Americas for 12 years, and held various senior management positions at Aon for 10 years.
He was a partner in Pilot Insurance Agency of Winston Salem—one of the largest privately held insurance brokerage companies in the south—from 1969 until the firm was sold to Aon in 1986. Dunn has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters degree (CPCU).
Mr. Dunn has served on many nonprofit boards including Reynolda House, National Nature Conservancy, Wake Forest University Board of Visitors, National Fish & Wildlife Foundation, Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, Awards in the Visual Arts, National Audubon Society, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. He has also been a member of the UNCSA Board of Visitors.
