UNCSA Campus App now available for Faculty/Staff

UNCSA is excited to share that the UNCSA Campus app is now available to faculty and staff in addition to students. UNCSA Campus is a user-friendly mobile hub geared toward streamlining communication and access to the most relevant resources and information across campus.

The result of a multiyear collaborative process initiated by former Student Government Association (SGA) leadership and honed with feedback from students, faculty, staff and leadership, the new app centralizes critical information, tools and resources while offering new opportunities to connect and collaborate.

The expansion of the app to faculty and staff marks the second phase of UNCSA Campus' pilot year. The first phase saw the rollout of the app for students in fall 2023; phase three will provide costumized access to alumni in spring 2024.

Creating UNCSA Campus

UNCSA Campus App

Development of the new UNCSA Campus app began after former SGA leadership identified information/resource consolidation and ease of navigation as a priority for improving our student digital experience. UNCSA Campus is an all-encompassing solution, elevating the student experience by putting key resources at your fingertips – literally.

The process of sourcing, building and implementing UNCSA Campus was a collaboration with departments and students across campus. Student Affairs, Information Technologies and Strategic Communications worked together with SGA to create the tool and customize the user experience.

What it offers

With UNCSA Campus – accessible on phones, tablets and desktops – faculty and staff can check emails, view announcements, see library and event calendars, see the latest headlines, quickly navigate to EZArts, explore UNCSA resources, and much more.

Behind the scenes

UNCSA Campus is powered by the innovative digital portal software Pathify – a centralized user experience hub for higher education. It’s used by universities across the country, including California Institute of the Arts, Winston-Salem State University and the University of Denver. After a thorough review process that involved demonstrations from other vendors and university testimonials, we determined Pathify offers the digital experience that makes sense for our community.

Transforming UNCSA Campus

Reflective of our goal to centralize information and streamline navigation,  internal content formerly branded as “MySA” has been consolidated under the umbrella title of “UNCSA Campus.” Webpages previously under uncsa.edu/mysa can now be found under the relevant section of the main university website. Daily and weekly announcement email newsletters will come from UNCSA Campus. (The announcement submission process remains the same).

As UNCSA Campus was created for you, we want to know your thoughts. A feedback form has been embedded in the hub’s homepage to enable continued improvement. We are so excited to share this new tool with the campus community!
