UNCSA Archives presents the Mel Tomlinson exhibit

A graphic image advertising the Mel Tomlinson Exhibit: a black outline of a ballet dancer against a background of clouds.The UNCSA Archives is excited to announce the newly processed Mel Tomlinson Collection with an exhibit highlighting his time at NCSA and his career achievements.

The exhibit focuses on his time as an NCSA high school and college modern dance and ballet student through his professional career with the Agnes de Mille’s Heritage Dance Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, New York City Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theatre and the Boston Ballet. The exhibit also features Tomlinson's family, his battle with AIDS, personal writings, and his funeral program.

The Mel Tomlinson exhibit is on view in the UNCSA Archives breezeway on the 3rd floor of the library.
