After 30 years of teaching Spanish, Kim Whiteman retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools in 2013, but missed spending time with the students. She now teaches Spanish 1, Spanish 2 and Advanced Spanish in the High School Program at UNCSA.
I try to give all of my students a chance to be successful to show them they are capable of doing well. When they have confidence, then I can challenge them and watch them grow.
