Ronnal Ford

Alumnus Ronnal Ford has spent his career becoming an extremely versatile artist through performing and teaching various woodwind and strings instruments including oboe/English horn, flute, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, violin, viola and cello while also arranging music for various ensembles.

  • Adjunct instructor in music at North Carolina Agricultural and State University (NCA&T), Forsyth Technical Community College and Guilford Technical Community College
  • Woodwind and strings studio instructor at Maestro's Studio 
  • Musicianship instructor at the UNC Greensboro Music Camp, 2012-19

  • Studio oboe teacher at Brightest Star School of Performing Arts, 2012

Career Highlights

  • Currently the second oboe/english horn with the Fayetteville Symphony
  • Other Large Ensemble work includes Orchestra Noir, Durham Sumphony, Carolina Philharmonic, Wester Piedmont Symphony, NOVUS Chamber Orchestra and Wiston-Salem Symphony
  • Stage performance credits include work with Gallery Players, Triad Stage, High Point Community Theatre, Community Theatre of Greensboro and Drama Center of Greensboro
  • Performing with several Chamber Ensembles including Quintet Sirocco, Salem Trio, Flutes on 4th, Winston-Salem Chamber Players and Holiday Inn Entertainment
