Police offer High School Driver's Education class

Male with hands on steering wheel.UNCSA Police will be instructing a Driver’s Education Class this fall. This class will be provided free of charge. Students will be provided with the necessary learning materials. 

Note: This class is available to UNCSA high school student only!

There are 30 hours of required classroom instruction that must be performed. Each student must be present and complete all sessions in their entirety. No makeup work is given.

The dates and times have been set. Class will be in the Cobb Training Room 104 in the Campus Police building from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. the following days:

  • Sunday, October 15
  • Saturday, October 21
  • Saturday, October 28
  • Sunday, October 29
  • Sunday, November 5
  • Saturday, November 11

If you would like to sign up for the class and have not already done so, please contact Brock Snyder in the High School Academic Office 3rd Floor Gray Building.

After completion of the classroom hours, each student must have a minimum of six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. The in-car driving instruction will be scheduled after the classroom portion and will be based on the availability of the student and the instructor.
