Safe Zone training offered to faculty, staff in October
Safe Zone is a program designed to create a network of visible allies to people who identify as part of the diverse LGBTIQA+ community. UNCSA is offering a three-course Safe Zone training for faculty and staff in October.
The three educational sessions will provide information and resources related to sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. These sessions will be held during the lunch period from noon-1 p.m. in the Eisenberg Social Hall on Oct. 17, Oct. 24 and Oct. 31. All are welcome to any of the sessions provided, even if you did not attend previous sessions.
Please sign up for the dates that you wish to attend. If you attend and complete all three courses you will be given a certification of completion and a window decal to display that your office is now a Safe Zone.
