Food for Thought TED Talk-style lunchtime series Oct. 24

Students, faculty and staff are invited to bring a lunch and hear college music student Thomas Little and Digital Media staff member Elizabeth White present on their experiences in the wilderness. About the presenters

Little is a third-year composition music student of Dr. Michael Rothkopf. He is composing a symphony around his experiences in the Grand Tetons National Park. Little will discuss narrative structure in music and the challenges and rewards of using music as a storytelling device.

White manages the My SA section of the UNCSA website, but loves to unplug from technology by hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail and several trails on the West Coast. She will discuss “Hiking Like a Girl,” gear worth carrying and her favorite trails.
