Greg Gleghorn joins UNCSA as Director of Information Security
The Technology Division is pleased to announce that Greg Gleghorn started Monday,
Nov. 13 as the Director of Information Security. Greg has more than 16 years of experience
in technology management and policy development.
Prior to joining the UNCSA team, he was the Director of Information Technology Network Infrastructure, Security, and Systems for South Piedmont Community College where he managed training and development for a team of nine direct reports. A few key projects he oversaw during this time are PCI DSS compliance, change management and the establishment of Information Technology and Security Governance.
Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Internetworking Technology from Strayer University. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Ph.D. from Capella University, both in Information Security.
Greg has completed multiple professional certifications including CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP-RS, CCNP-Security and CISSP.
The Director of Information Security is a senior leader in the Technology Division responsible for establishing and maintaining a University-wide information security management program to ensure that assets are adequately protected.
