In February 2017, the School of Filmmaking welcomed a group of students from Konrad Wolf Film University in Babelsberg, just outside of Berlin. Our students worked closely with the German students while they shot a short film during their stay in Winston-Salem, NC. In May, 15 UNCSA students traveled to Germany for a 12-day exchange program during which they developed, produced and shot their own short film with the German students.

This free screening will show both student films, as well as a documentary-style behind-the-scenes featurette that highlights the students' experiences. Following the screening, the students will participate in a Q&A about the exchange - including the German students who will be joining the discussion via Skype.

A second exchange is planned for 2018. Donations are welcome and will go towards student travel and lodging expenses. All donations are tax-deductible.
