Master of Public Administration information session Thursday

Books, tablet on desk in a classroomInterested in earning an MPA? Appalachian State University's Distance Education program is beginning a new cohort in January 2020 at Forsyth Tech.

The Master of Public Administration degree is a 42-hour degree program that trains individuals to manage public agencies and programs and to evaluate their effectiveness. As a student, you will become proficient in the knowledge, skills and ethical values needed to become an effective manager.

This is not an online program. Professors from ASU come to Forsyth Tech two nights weekly to teach. General class size is 12-18 students, and students in this program are required to be working professionals. This is a great opportunity to make use of the Tuition Waiver program since ASU is also in the UNC System.

An information session will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at Forsyth Tech campus. If you are interested in learning more about the program and/or want to attend information session, please contact Andrea Clemmer at 336-770-1451 or clemmera@uncsa.edu.
