State updates travel reimbursement per diem rates

Suitcase by an open home doorThe Office of State Budget Management (OSBM) has released updated subsistence rates for state employees' in-state and out-of-state travel.

Effective July 1, breakfast is increased to $8.60 and lunch is increased to  $11.30 for in- and out-of-state travel. Dinners are reimbursed at $19.50 for in-state travel and $22.20 for out-of-state travel.

Hotel reimbursement has also increased to $75.10 for in-state and $88.70 for out-of-state lodgings. The same exceptions for lodging overages (conference host hotels and employees safety concerns) are still available.
