Faculty and Staff Appreciation Celebration Schedule

UNCSA Faculty and Staff are asked to save the date for the week of appreciation events on campus Oct. 28-Nov. 1!

We'll be kicking off Monday morning with doughnuts and coffee at the Human Resources Office. Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week is a series of events to thank all university employees for their dedication and pickle pride.

Schedule of Events

Mission Monday, Oct. 28 from 9-11 a.m. in HR lobby:

  • Drop off food for the Pickle Pantry. Raffle ticket given for donating five cans of food. List of donated items requested.
  • Enjoy a doughnut
  • Pick up passport for week-long Scavenger Hunt
  • Begin Scavenger Hunt

Tie-Dye Tuesday, Oct. 29:

  • 7:30-9 a.m. Enjoy the Appreciation Breakfast outside the Pickle Jar.
  • 1 p.m. Meet at the "Elephants" sculpture (weather permitting) to tie-dye a T-Shirt. Shirts provided on first-come, first-served basis or you may bring your own.
  • Scavenger Hunt continues

Wellness Wednesday, Oct. 30

  • Make your own granola outside Watson Hall Lobby
  • 9 a.m.-noon Get your flu shot in Watson Hall Lobby
  • noon-2 p.m. in Alex Ewing Performance Place Circle will be the following food trucks: Lobster Dogs, El Taco Vaquero, and Zeko's To Go Mediterranean
  • 2 p.m. Wellness Walk, weather permitting. Meet in Daniels Plaza.
  • 4-5 p.m. Healthy Drum Circle (Daniels Plaza if nice weather. Eisenberg is the rain location.)
  • Scavenger Hunt continues

Festival Thursday, Oct. 31 in Eisenberg

  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m. various games and raffles
  • Drop off food for the Pickle Pantry. Raffle ticket given for donating five cans of food. List of donated items requested.
  • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Enjoy Appreciation Lunch

School Spirit Friday, Nov. 1 at the Library

  • 1-1:30 p.m. Group picture with tie-dyed shirts or UNCSA shirts.
