UNC System seeks input on search for new president
The University of North Carolina System wants your input in its search for a new president.
The UNC president is the chief administrative and executive officer of a 17-campus system (which includes UNCSA) as well as the UNC Center for Public Television, the UNC Health Care System, the cooperative extension and research services, area health education centers, and countless other programs and facilities. The UNC System serves nearly 250,000 students and delivers an annual economic impact of more than $27.9 billion.
Specifically, the system wants you to:
- Define those qualities needed in its leader “that will ensure success not only in carrying out the roles and responsibilities of the president but representing all stakeholders and all North Carolinians in the important work of the entire UNC System.” Please complete the survey on qualities needed.
- Tell them what you think are the greatest strengths, opportunities and challenges for the UNC System.
- Tell them what the next UNC System president needs to know about UNCSA.
