Recognizing our RiverRun International Film Festival films

RiverRun International Film Festival 2020 logo We would like to take a minute to honor 2019 short student films "Alley Rats," "Blue & Hues," "Folding Fur," and "Interstate 8" which were originally scheduled to screen in the RiverRun Film Festival March 26 - April 5, 2020.

Ash Malone was scheduled to pitch his work-in-progress 2020 film "Pink, White, and Blue" as part of RiverRun's student documentary pitchfest competition.

Alumni feature film "The Arbors" was also scheduled to premiere at RiverRun this weekend.

"Alley Rats" was written and directed by Sean Breitkreutz, produced by Tristan Blair and Jon Jenkins, with cinematography by Mateo Davis,
production design by Madison Harvey, editing and sound design by Terry Heinz, music by Marissa Johnson, animation by Jordan McLaughlin and Ben Fisk, costume design by Maggie Neal, and wig & makeup design by Nathalie Eidt.

"Blue & Hues" was written by Jordan McLaughlin, Brian Sheehan, and Gabrielle Walden, directed by Jordan McLaughlin, produced by Nick Dardes, animated by Jordan McLaughlin and Hosanna Gourley, edited by Brian Sheehan, sound designed by Gabrielle Walden, and music by Ryan Mulder and Gabrielle Walden.

"Folding Fur" was written, directed and animated by Keaton Sapp and Madison Williams, produced by Johnny Cebula and John Hurley, with cinematography by Chris Griggs, edited by John Rizzi, sound design by Emilyann Marsh and music by Tim Carlos.

"Interstate 8" is a collaborative work with students from Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. The film was written and directed by Konrad Wolf student Anne Thieme, produced by Lina Mareike Zopfs, co-produced by Abraham Bengio and Katie Sanderson, with cinematography by Martin Gasch, editing by Michal Kuleba, Anne Thieme and Saeid Behbahaninia, sound by Roman Pogorzelski and music by Christoph Bernewitz, Alexander Binder and Dascha Dauenhauer.

"The Arbors" is a feature film created by UNCSA alumni including writers Chelsey Cummings and Clayton Witmer, directed by Clayton Witmer, produced by Clayton Aggles and Michael Samilow, with cinematography by Ayinde Anderson, editing and sound design by Jeremy Darnell, production design by Jonathan McCarter, costume design by Chelsey Cummings and many more alumni featured in the cast and crew.
