Get prepared: Benefits Open Enrollment begins Thursday
This year’s benefits Open Enrollment period is Oct. 15-Oct. 31, 2020, which is shorter than usual. During this time, you will have the opportunity to enroll in both your State Health Plan and your NCFlex benefits. You can enroll online or call Benefit Focus Call Center to enroll at 855-859-0966.
Open Enrollment Zoom Assistance offered
There is no ability to deliver in-person enrollment assistance and customer service response times may be longer than usual this year due to COVID-19. Open Enrollment Zoom Assistance will be available in the Campus Police Cobb Training Room from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 15-31 Monday- Friday.
Remaining UNCSA Zoom Benefit Information Sessions:
- Tuesday, Oct. 13 (for Facilities Management) 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 14 (for anyone) 11 am.-1 p.m.
How to prepare
Know your username and password
Please validate your network username and password for the single-sign-on option to log into the benefits enrollment system. You will use the same username and password as you use for your UNCSA email. If you do not know your network username and password, contact UNCSA Technology Support at 336-770-3300.
Review the materials
Review the materials mailed to your home and available online, so that you are ready to take action during Open Enrollment. Please come by Human Resources to pick up a paper copy of the booklet, if needed.

Are you a tobacco user?
Tobacco users who want to earn your State Health Plan wellness monthly premium credit for 2021, can complete a tobacco cessation counseling session at a CVS MinuteClinic or a Primary Care Provider’s (PCP) office for free to earn a lower premium for 2021.
You must complete tobacco cessation counseling session by Nov. 30, 2020, to earn your premium credit.
