Choose to make a difference for others in N.C.
What can a one-time gift of $10 buy? It can buy hats and gloves for a child this winter, food for a cat or dog at an animal shelter, or provide answers and support for three crisis calls to a helpline. The State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC) allows small donations collectively to make a big impact in North Carolina.
The choice is yours of which charity you wish to donate.
The choice is yours to make a one-time donation or to make a larger donation amount in small monthly amounts through payroll deduction.
You can choose as little as $1 per week to donate a total of $52 donation. A donation of $52 can provide enough food for one veteran assistance dog for two months, a backpack full of school supplies for one middle or high school student, or $416 of free medical, dental and pharmacy care.

How to give
Select from more than 900 charities in the Giving Guide (PDF). You can give in the following ways:
- NC SECC.org,
- an ePledge link you'll receive in your UNCSA email, or
- complete a PDF fillable pledge form that is submitted directly to the SECC
Help UNCSA meet its goals
In honor of the school’s 55th anniversary of the opening of UNCSA, the goal this year is to raise $5,500 and to have at least 55 employees contribute. Can you be one? So far:
- we have raised $3,452. We are 64% to our goal.
- 20 people have donated. We are 36% to our goal.
Two chances to be in raffles
If you donate by Nov. 20, you'll be entered into a raffle to win a UNCSA parking spot near your office, complete with SECC Donor sign (though because of tax rules you'll have to pay for a non-reserved spot.) SECC will be drawing winners of $50 grocery gift cards on Nov. 19.
