Billing schedule, payment plans available for spring 2021
Please be aware when looking at the dates below, UNCSA’s online billing portal TouchNet will be unavailable after noon on Dec. 18, 2020, and will remain unavailable through the end of December. Students and Authorized Users will not be able to view or pay their bill or enroll in a payment plan during this time.
Student Accounts will be processing charges after Thanksgiving in order to have spring bills distributed on or before Dec. 4, 2020. Please know that it may take several days for all charges and credits to post, and bills are not finalized until a statement has been posted to TouchNet.
The due date for all spring bills will be Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021.
Payment plans for the spring 2021 term will go live Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, and can be accessed through TouchNet. Parents are encouraged to set up Payment Plans through their Authorized User sign-in, so that they receive updates on payment recalculations and notification of completed payments.
Payment plans are listed by the total number of payments in each plan, including the down payment, and their lengths vary by enrollment date; the earlier the enrollment, the longer the plan. There are two types:
- “Estimated” plans where enrollees must manually enter their estimated charges for the term.
- “Actual” plans that divide out charges that have already been billed.
The Estimated 5 Payment Plan will be available for sign up from Nov. 16-Dec. 13. After a 20% down payment, it will automatically recalculate upon transition to an actual payment plan for the remaining payments on Jan. 4, Feb. 1, March 1 and April 1. Payments may increase or decrease upon plan recalculation.
The Actual 4 Payment Plan will be available Dec. 14-18, 2020, and Jan. 1-Jan. 15, 2021, with a 25% down payment and subsequent scheduled payments on Feb. 1, March 1 and April 1.
The Actual 3 payment plan will be available from Jan. 16 through the bill due date with a 34% down payment and subsequent scheduled payments on March 1 and April 1.
