Student email access issues
We are aware that some students do not currently have access to their UNCSA email
accounts. Over the holiday break, IT migrated student email accounts to a new server
location to make collaboration between students and faculty easier. This update caused
some student email account passwords to expire and will need to be reset by the Help
Desk. It is important that you can access your email account to receive timely information
about returning for the spring semester. If you are attempting to email a student
at their artist email address and did not receive a response, please try an alternative
communication method and share this message.
How to fix it
If you have issues logging in (www.office.com), you will need Help Desk support with a password reset, which only takes a few minutes. There are three ways to access support:
- Email technologysupport@uncsa.edu;
- Submit a support ticket at https://support.uncsa.edu; or
- Call the Help Desk at 336-770-3300.
Remember to include a phone number when you email or submit a ticket so we can contact
you.
Once you can log in, we encourage you to set up Self-Service Password Reset in the
new environment. The instructions for Self-Service Password Reset are in our Knowledge Base.
