Dollar bills in a jean pocketUpdated: Clarified eligible employees and when employees will receive their pay.

UNCSA Payroll and Human Resources offices worked over the weekend and continue to work diligently to ensure that eligible permanent employees, employed as of Dec. 1, will see the bonus money in their December pay.

The bonuses are part of the state budget passed by the General Assembly and signed into law by Gov. Roy Cooper before Thanksgiving.  All sworn law enforcement officers and employees whose annual base salary does not exceed $75,000 will receive a $1,500 bonus.  Employees, whose annual base salary exceeds $75,000 will receive a $1,000 bonus.

Employees paid monthly will receive their pay on Dec. 21. Employees paid biweekly, who have completed their direct deposit, will receive their pay on Dec. 31.  Employees paid biweekly, who have not completed their direct deposit, will be able to pick up their checks once the University reopens on Jan. 4, 2022.

The 2.5% increases from the annual raise process will be processed in early 2022 upon receipt of additional guidance for eligible employees and are retroactive to July 1, 2021.  Another 2.5% increase will be issued in the next fiscal year for eligible employees.
