Matt Horvat named Assistant Controller
Please join me in congratulating Mathew Horvat on his promotion to University Assistant
Controller!
Horvat has more than 10 years of accounting, supervisory, and leadership experience, and for the past four-plus years Horvat has served as the Bursar at UNCSA. Prior to that he was the Disbursement Manager at UNCSA.
Horvat earned a Master of Fine Arts in Performing Arts Management from UNCSA School of Design and Production, a Master of Business Administration from UNC Pembroke and is currently pursuing an master's degree in Accounting from UNC Greensboro. He continues to demonstrate his desire to grow and develop within the profession.
I look forward to working with him in his new role, as our team becomes more intentional about how we connect and engage with our UNCSA community partners (both internal and external); and as we continually seek to learn and professionally develop and improve our processes and operations.
