The Frontera Project to conduct workshops, free public performance

People walking alongside a tall wall The Kenan Institute for the Arts is pleased to welcome the Frontera Project for a two-day residency at UNCSA. Members of the company will conduct workshops with School of Drama students and meet with classes in the Division of Liberal Arts.

The feature of their residency will be a free public performance at the Reynolds Place Theatre at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts on Monday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.

The Frontera Project is an interactive, bilingual theatre experience created and performed by an ensemble of artists from Mexico and the US. Fusing theater, movement, and music, the artists and audience engage in a compassionate, often joyous conversation about life at the U.S./Mexico Border.

The performance and post-show discussion is free for all to attend.

Come early for food trucks and to take in the Hispanic League's anniversary exhibit in the Milton Rhodes Center lobby. Bus transportation will be available for all students.
