Institutional Integrity welcomes Patrice Goldmon as associate general counsel

Woman with black way hair The Division of Institutional Integrity is pleased to announce that Patrice Goldmon will be joining our team as associate general counsel on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
 
Goldmon comes to UNCSA from East Carolina University, where she was assistant university attorney. At East Carolina, Goldmon advised various departments on campus including Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, Student Conduct, Title IX, as well as the Office for Equity and Diversity. Prior to ECU, Goldmon served as North Carolina Central University’s first post-doctoral legal fellow.
 
At UNCSA, Goldmon will provide legal advice and representation to UNCSA in collaboration with the vice chancellor for Institutional Integrity and General Counsel. She will assist with matters related to the law, governance, policy review and oversight, Title IX, prohibited harassment and discrimination, and other matters that are instrumental in UNCSA achieving its goals of providing an open, diverse, and inclusive learning and working environment.
 
Goldmon holds double bachelor’s degrees from UNC-Charlotte in Political Science and Communication Studies, as well as a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from NC Central University.
