Student tickets to see Bryan Stevenson

bryanThe Division of Student Affairs and the Division of Liberal Arts are hosting a special outing for UNCSA students to attend a special event at Wake Forest University to participate in the Face-to-Face Lecture Series on February 23, 2023 at 5 p.m.

This student-led session will provide an amazing opportunity to hear from Bryan Stevenson, a public interest lawyer who has dedicated his career to helping the poor, the incarcerated and the condemned. He's the founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI), an Alabama-based group that has won major legal challenges eliminating excessive and unfair sentencing, exonerating innocent prisoners on death row, confronting abuse of the incarcerated and the mentally ill, and aiding children prosecuted as adults. Stevenson is the author of the best-selling memoir “Just Mercy”, which was later turned into a film, starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Fox.

Students interested in attending should request a ticket from the form below on a first-come, first-served basis. Transportation will be provided.
