UNCSA uses Interfolio Review, Promotion & Tenure (RPT), a faculty-oriented online secure platform, for submission and evaluation of materials provided by faculty members undergoing Rank Promotion. Upon receipt of your Letter of Intent, Faculty Affairs will initiate your case in Interfolio RPT and send you an email via the Interfolio platform with a link to “View Case”. Candidates should reference Help for Review, Promotion, and Tenure Candidates on Interfolio's Help Center web page for instructions and best practices for organizing the packet.

1. External Reviewer Nomination Form
Required Form: External Reviewer Nomination Form for Rank Promotion
The External Reviewer Nomination Form is completed by the Candidate to recommend external reviewers. Candidates should recommend at least five external reviewers to their dean. See External Review Guidelines for Candidates & Deans for Rank Promotion and External Reviews FAQ for more information about selecting external reviewers and the external review process.
2. Application for Rank Promotion
Required Form: Application for Rank Promotion
Candidates must submit a completed Application for Rank Promotion including numerical performance ratings. Performance ratings must adhere to the requirements noted on the Application.
Using Procedures for Faculty Self-Evaluation for Rank Promotion for guidance, the Candidate will provide (1) a Self-Evaluation Narrative and (2) an Engaged & Sustained Résumé. These two documents comprise the Self-Evaluation which serves as the foundation of the packet and rank promotion evaluation.
4. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
The most recent version of the Candidate’s CV should be submitted. It should be dated and paginated. It should include a list of courses taught, a list of administrative assignments and professional creative activity/research.
5. Student Course Evaluations
Include the last 5 years of your student course evaluations*. As you are naming and organizing your materials, keep in mind reviewers are not necessarily familiar with them.
The Candidate should check with the Dean’s Office if he/she does not have copies of his/her student course evaluations for the period under review.
*Due to the unexpected and rapid transition to online teaching in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, candidates are not required to include Student Course Evaluations from the Spring 2020 term.

6. Annual Evaluations
The Candidate's Annual Evaluation/Update of Professional Activities Form, Parts I & II for the past 5 years. As you are naming and organizing your materials, keep in mind reviewers are not necessarily familiar with them.
The Candidate should check with the Dean’s Office if he/she is missing either Part I or Part II of the Annual Evaluation.
7. Optional Supplemental Support
The Candidate may include any additional information in support of the application; however, supplemental support is not required.
