As a staff member, you can use your Community Service Leave time at any non-profit with a 501(c)3 status.  The locations that are listed in this section have been vetted and are close to the UNCSA campus. They are only recommendations.    

Most organizations that are needing volunteers have a web-based form to complete and submit.  The organization will then connect with you about their needs and specific dates and times they need volunteers. Generally, it is a good idea to reach out two weeks prior to when you want to volunteer.   

Yes.  You must get your supervisor to approve the time prior to when you plan to use it and it must be during your regular work time to use the Community Service Leave.
