UNCSA is implementing a new calendar and space management system. Starting Monday, Aug. 23, you will no longer be able to reserve campus rooms and spaces using the EMS system as IT will be importing that data. You can start using the new Campus Calendar portal.
The UNCSA IT department has paid for the group registration for staff and faculty to attend the UNC Cause 2021 virtual conference Oct. 5-14, 2021. Review the sessions.
IT will upgrade its support ticketing system and knowledge base site at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27. The upgrade should be completed by 7 a.m. the next day and those systems available for use.
On Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 6 p.m. to midnight, Information Technology will perform an upgrade to the campus firewall. There will be several brief intermittent losses of connectivity during the maintenance window.
Information Technology will be working on the wireless connection of ncsa_college at 10 a.m. Friday, July 23. Staff and faculty use a different wireless network connection and should not experience any interruption in service.
You now can have the convenience and security of carrying and using your One Card from your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android phone. Simply add your One Card to Apple Wallet or Google Pay and tap it all around campus.
Starting July 13, network switches will be upgraded in designated campus areas. The work will be done from 7 p.m. through 5 a.m. and interruption is expected during that timeframe. See the maintenance service schedule to know when your area will be upgraded.
