"Still Life with Rocket" by Mollye Maxner

Winner of the 2018 Helen Hayes Awards for Outstanding Production and Choreography, Mollye Maxner’s devised theater piece is performed in a manner unlike anything previously seen at UNCSA. At its heart, “Still Life with Rocket” is the story of a family dealing with their mother’s worsening dementia. As the matriarch’s grown children all return home, family secrets are revealed through a unique combination of theater, dance and art.
