Flor de Toloache
This all-female mariachi band has a unique flavor and sound, offering an edgy, versatile and fresh take on traditional Mexican music. Winners of a Latin Grammy Award for Best Ranchero Band, Flor de Toloache has illuminated world renowned stages in Europe and India. As the opening act of Black Keys’ singer Dan Auerbach’s new band, The Arcs, they played to sold out audiences in the UK, Germany, Holland, Italy and France.
In the U.S., they’ve captivated crowds in at legendary venues including Terminal 5 in New York, Nashville’s Ryman Theater at The Grand Ole Opry and the Coachella Festival. The group’s live performances have been praised by Rolling Stone, Billboard Magazine, The New Yorker, GQ Magazine and the New York Times. Following a highly praised “Tiny Desk Concert,” their collaboration with The Arcs landed them on the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and BBC 2’s “Later with Jools Holland.”
