Watch in disbelief as British writer Lucy Prebble unravels one of the most notorious scandals of corporate and accounting history in her explosive drama about Enron, directed by Vivian Farahani as her fourth-year director’s thesis.

The mega-fraud has forever condemned Enron executives Kenneth Lay, Jeffrey Skilling and Andrew Fastow to the pantheon of brazen crooks, bringing them and the company to bankruptcy, prison and personal shame. It feels tragicomic, but also follows a Greek tragic arc, where at the end the “hero” has lost everything. It’s all fun and games until it isn’t. “Prebble has fashioned the tale as an epic myth that takes the audience through various twists and turns of capitalism, and, along the way, exposes the glamour of greed and the toxic masculine adrenaline of success.” (Broadway World)
