Elizabeth Finfgeld

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Elizabeth Finfgeld began dancing at the age of 3. She began seriously training at the age of 14 at Chesterfield Dance Center, and then continued at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2014. Elizabeth has received scholarships at UNCSA, such as the Nutcracker Dance Scholarship, Agnes DeMille Scholarship and Campus Arts Scholarship.

Summer programs attended include Richmond Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance (SFCD), Merce Cunningham Trust, The Dash Ensemble, Gaga and BODYTRAFFIC. She has had the opportunity to perform works including “When the Beat Drops” by Juel D. Lane, “Inventions” and “Change of Address” by Merce Cunningham, “Echad” by Ohad Naharin and works created by Ming-Lung Yang, Natalie Desch, BJ Sullivan, Martha Graham and Gregory Dolbashian.
