Acting Out! Summer Camp

The UNC System has canceled all residential and face-to-face summer programs for summer 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. We will update with information about online options no later than Friday, April 10. For students enrolled in programs that cannot offer an online version, or students who are not interested in an online program, we will refund all payments. A schedule of refunds by program will be available no later than Friday, April 10. For questions, please email

Engage your children in Acting Out to break up their summer with a fast-paced program to learn acting skills from conservatory-trained professionals. We invite students who have completed grades Kindergarten through 8th grade to participate in Acting Out Summer Day Camps focusing on the craft of acting for their age group.

Students may enroll on Session 1, Session 2 or both sessions. These day camps will teach acting skills for each age group and will also feature a selection of classes in Dance, Improvisation, Stage Combat, Movement and Singing.

Each full-day camper will be asked to bring a bag lunch with a drink for the lunch break; mid-afternoon snacks will be provided each day. All classes will take place in the Workplace Building and the Drama Gym on the UNCSA campus. Instructors are affiliated with the award-winning UNCSA School of Drama as either faculty, alumni, or students. Please join us for our fifth year of Acting Out Summer Day Camp!
