Sarah Graham Kenan Scholarship of Excellence

Sarah Graham Kenan Scholarship is to be awarded to a rising college senior who is a degree-seeking candidate with the following attributes:

  • Outstanding characteristics in talent and artistic achievement.
  • Excellence in academic performance (a cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or better and a cumulative 3.0 or better in academics)
  • Exceptional qualities in leadership and citizenship.

The scholarship will cover tuition, fees, room, and board, plus $3,700 stipend for related expenses.

Aniyah Wilkinson

Aniyah Wilkinson

Aniyah Wilkinson is a fourth-year contemporary dancer from Tortola, British Virgin Islands (BVI). During her time at UNCSA, she has been in several original works choreographed by Juel D. Lane, Trey McIntyre, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Brenda Daniels and Ashley Lindsey and has voice acted in a fourth-year student animation film.

She is a leader in several student groups on campus, serving as President of Artists of Color, social media manager and events planner for the International Student Association, Director of UNCSA Pageantry, UNCSA student ambassador and class representative of her third-year contemporary dance class.

Beyond UNCSA, Wilkinson is an international member of the Elevated Dance Company in the BVI and is also closely associated with the performing and visual arts scene within the Winston-Salem community. She has participated in events run by the DOSE Arts Collective and the Arts Council of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, both as a dancer and a creative. She also runs her own crochet business called Amimono Designs where she sells handmade crocheted clothing, plushies and accessories.
