Dara Folan is an investor in the private investment company 7/25 Capital Partners, LLC and a member of the Board of Directors of one of its subsidiaries, Cooperstown Distillery, LLC, a producer and seller of handcrafted artisanal spirits. Folan previously served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Secretary of Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) from 2004 until his retirement in 2018, and held various positions with R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc. from 1999 to 2004.
In addition to UNCSA's Foundation Board, Dara serves on the Board of Directors of the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership (DWSP) and DWSP’s Foundation Board and chairs the DWSP Planning Committee. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Salem Academy and College and of the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Reynolda House Museum of American Art.
